Global Facility Management and Construction and ServiceChannel begin XML Data Exchange
In order to reduce the administrative cost involved in duplicating efforts on two systems and provide better customer service to its clients, Global and ServiceChannel have caused the two technologies to “talk to each other.” GFM’s clients that use ServiceChannel as a third party technology provider will benefit greatly from this data exchange both in real time data entry and lower pricing. Some ServiceChannel clients utilize the technology for some services and not for others. Therefore Global's customers will still be able to long in GFM's website (www.gfm247.com) and get direct answers on tickets. Wherever a retailer does use ServiceChannel, the data exchange will be an immediate and cost effective tool.
Global Facility Management and Construction Upgrades Technology to a Level Unsurpassed in the Industry
Global has developed the most comprehensive, state of the art tracking technology in the retail facilities industry and has named its systems “GEMS” for Global Electronic Management Software. The system fully tracks all demand services, reoccurring maintenance, self performing employee technicians and subcontractors. All Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are tracked by trade such that all technicians are measured for all services thus creating an ongoing “report card.” GFM is committed to only using the best technicians at the lowest possible pricing.
The GEMS system further incorporates the business rules for each client from emergency priorities to “bundled” services. The “bundling” technology includes automatic search and mapping for same trades within a 20 minute drive time thereby significantly reducing the cost of demand repairs.
